The Mörglbl Trio!! - Bienvenue a Mörglbl Land (1999)IHL

Godin, Rougny and Frelezeau are pedigree eccentrics whose task is amusing the listener with odd tones. Its best proof are a freaky intro, many optimistic accents and humorous narrations varying the instrumental sphere of their second release. Mr. Godin lightly get around a guitar neck deftly joining the tones. Yep, his playing is more intense and distinct in comparison to the debut. He shows his skills, however his companions don't loaf at all. The whole trio has turned out to be more creative and presented much more original and inventive ideas comparing to the preceding CD. Their music is a little bit experimental and unconventional getting out of all the classifications. I most enjoy Frenchmen's countless ideas and a volcano of musical jokes. Of course, here are also romantic excerpts for polite girls and genteel boys, haha. A mind-blowing atmosphere is additionally scalloped by accordion parts and even country cuts at some moments on the album.

I always try to open up, so this time I admit that the stuff has lived up to my expectations. The Mörglbl Trio is an instrumental metallic combo with twisted concepts and insane performance, haha. Let Christophe Godin, Dave Martone, Phi-Yaan Zek, Pascal Vigné, Terry Syrek, Bumblefoot, Chris Buono and Todd Duane meet together, and I don't vouch for them as they would surely blow up the world, haha! "Bienvenue a Mörglbl Land" is one of the most instru(mentally) mad stuff I heard in recent years and worth owning beyond any doubt!
