Zepubicle - Scientists Levitate Small Animals (2007)Solponticello

Just look at the label and it is clear that the H'arpeggione operator called Killick must have had a hand in this. This oddly and interestingly titled CD at the same time was recorded live at Mercury Art Works Gallery in Athens, Georia (December 2006). Mr. Killick produced this stuff together with Marshall Marrotte (baritone guitar), Jeff McLeod (guitar, chapman stick) and Tatsuya Nakatani (percussion).

It was easy to predict that so musically twisted freaks would create very mysterious and cryptic tones being hard to envisage. Their extemporized sonic storm is founded on ambient background. Zepubicle's music is as well harsh, futuristic and technological. Forget about melody. Forget about catchy tones. Forget about easiness in reception. Forget everything, haha. You'd better be steeled for highly experimental music not to go mad, haha. Killick and Co.'s music is very scientifical, intellectual and academic, but I am not sure if it is worth recommending just before the end-of-term examinations, haha?
